Joe Diianni

Founder & CEO

Joe Diianni is the founder and CEO of Electric Red, guiding the company’s strategy, major customer engagements, and the development of its engineering and operations teams. He focuses on delivering modern, reliable solutions across cloud infrastructure, business continuity, enterprise integrations, and emerging AI technologies.

Joe has led technology initiatives for more than two decades across corporate, education, and nonprofit sectors. His background includes serving as Partner & CMO at Emergys, a leading SAP reseller, and VP of Technology at the U.S. Green Building Council in Washington, D.C. He’s helped organizations adopt innovative systems, streamline operations, and support mission-critical platforms.

Joe maintains strong relationships with partners including SAP, Adobe, Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Cisco, Amazon, and Salesforce. He studied Technology, Politics, and Marketing at Pepperdine University and brings a practical, business-forward approach to technology leadership and customer success.

Grayson Wood

Director, Engineering Operations

Grayson Wood is a seasoned engineering and cloud operations leader with deep expertise in DevOps, AWS, and enterprise application delivery. He began his career as an intern at Versiant Corporation before moving into SharePoint and .NET development at Quotum Technologies.

Grayson joined Electric Red in 2018, where he has spent more than seven years building and scaling cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks, and engineering processes that power the company’s operational backbone.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of South Alabama, where he participated in the Association of Computing Machinery. As Director of Engineering Operations, Grayson drives system reliability, deployment automation, and platform engineering across Electric Red’s services.

Matt Truhan

Director, Field Technologies

Matt Truhan is a seasoned technology leader with 18 years of enterprise experience across infrastructure, robotics, retail technology, and SaaS. Before joining Electric Red, he held multiple senior roles at Murad / Unilever Prestige, including Director and Sr. Director of Enterprise Infrastructure & Retail Technology, where he led large-scale systems, PMO operations, and retail tech modernization. His earlier career includes key engineering and product roles at Adsystech and nearly five years at Evolution Robotics Retail, where he worked as both a Data Analyst/Project Manager and Manager of Information Services.

Matt earned his B.S. in Management Information Systems from California State University, Long Beach. At Electric Red, he oversees all Field Technologies, ensuring reliable deployments, scalable infrastructure, and high-quality technical execution across customer environments.

James Leamon

Director, Business Operations

James Leamon brings a lifetime of hands-on technical experience and proven operational leadership to Electric Red. Raised around telecom and mainframe teardown work, he began building computers prior to high-school and went on to do independent support and break-fix service work across various businesses in the Southeast.

His career spans both technical and business roles, from becoming the youngest outside sales rep in the country for Sherwin-Williams’ Automotive division to leading Staples’ EasyTech operations and later serving as General Manager over all three CompuZone locations in South Carolina.

At Electric Red, James oversees business operations, combining deep technical roots with strong leadership and service-delivery expertise.

Trey Rust

Director, Business Development

Trey Rust is an accomplished business development and marketing leader with more than a decade of experience across startups, digital communications, and strategic consulting. Before joining Electric Red, Trey spent seven years as President of CrowdReach LLC and later served as Co-Founder & CEO of CrowdReach Holdings, where he helped build and grow a platform focused on multi-channel outreach for small businesses. He also founded Pollen Social, further cementing his role in the Charleston startup ecosystem.

Earlier in his career, Trey served as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, supporting program management and strategic business development initiatives. He holds a B.A. in History from Davidson College. At Electric Red, Trey leads all business development efforts, strengthening partnerships, driving growth, and expanding the company’s presence across the region.
