What is One Lap Of America
The “One Lap of America” is a week-long endurance race that involves driving approximately 3,500 miles across the United States. The race was created in 1984 by Brock Yates, the founder of Car and Driver magazine, as a successor to the Cannonball Baker Sea-To-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophy Dash.
In the “One Lap of America,” participants drive from track to track, competing in a variety of motorsports events, including autocross, drag racing, and road racing. The race requires both speed and endurance, as teams must complete each event as quickly as possible while still maintaining their vehicles in top condition throughout the grueling journey.
The “One Lap of America” attracts a diverse range of competitors, including professional racers, amateur enthusiasts, and even factory-backed teams. The race is widely regarded as one of the most challenging and prestigious events in the world of motorsports, and it continues to captivate fans and participants alike.
About The BMW M5CS
The 2022 BMW M5 CS is a high-performance sports sedan with a 4.4-liter V8 engine that delivers 627 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. It has a top speed of 190 mph and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.9 seconds. The M5 CS features a lightweight carbon fiber roof, front splitter, and rear diffuser for improved aerodynamics, as well as an adaptive suspension and M Carbon ceramic brakes for enhanced handling and stopping power.
European Road and Racing made several modifications to their BMW, including squaring up the tires, changing the intake, and adding a custom tune and exhaust from Dinan Cars. They also installed a custom suspension to further enhance the car’s performance. These modifications have significantly improved the car’s acceleration and overall speed, although the exact top speed is not yet known.
